About Me

I’m a marketing director and consultant with 15 years working in online and offline retail. I specialise in beauty, skincare and lifestyle brands but I have created and implemented successful campaigns for B2B, financial and industrial clientele.

My experience encompasses all digital marketing channels with a particular focus on creating successful, natural/organic search (SEO) and content, but also paid search and social, email and technical development. For more information and to discuss how we can work together, please get in touch.


I was also the author of Manface, the UK’s most prominent, award-winning, men’s skincare blog, active mainly between 2011 and 2016 featuring in The Guardian, Sunday Times, Daily Mail, Daily Beast, Professional Beauty and El País. I’m very excited to have come back to it now as a hobby, writing only the things I want to write about.

In establishing Manface, I fell in love with every element of digital marketing including Digital PR, content and editorial writing, technical SEO, paid media and web development (which was also a passion since I was a child). Since founding the blog, I have been able to work with many of the world’s largest brands inside and outside of the beauty sector to create cutting edge strategies that have driven millions of pounds of revenue for many well-known brands.

With my love of search marketing, e-commerce and beauty, I am currently the Marketing Director of, an online skincare concierge service delivering bespoke and targeted skincare routines powered by aestheticians and the latest in AI computer vision.

I joined startup AI and skincare company Renude as marketing director and
within 16 weeks, dramatically increased the customer base through effective
PR placements, email marketing, social media advertising, paid search and
laying strong foundations for organic growth.

I also successfully implemented bleeding-edge tracking, at zero extra cost, and
migrated Renude to GA4 and server-side tracking, bypassing iOS14 tracker
blocking, seeing an instant reduction in CPL by over 50%.

Perfumer H

Worked with PERFUMER H to deliver a full online e-commerce experience
which was a new venture for the brand. Worked closely with Studio Frith to
develop a site and proposition that has been exceptionally successful for the
brand. Work continues on a retained consultancy basis.

My role included ownership and management SEO subchannels including
Content, PR and Technical with accountability of £1 million revenue annually.
The role included management and development responsibility of a team of
passionate specialists of varying seniority, as well as management of other
channel relevant team members across the network. We also worked closely
with Earned channels to share data and refine strategy.

Clients included Interflora, blu Vaping (Imperial Tobacco), Mindful Chef and
Morphy Richards.

During my time at iProspect, the direction of the wider business changed how
the SEO proposition needed to function at a local level and unfortunately what
I was brought in to achieve was no longer tenable.
